The Pali Institute invites applications from candidates for the following positions to help develop and further the research programmes at the institute.

PROFESSOR
Candidates must have at least 20 years of experience and impeccable research credentials. Should have prior experience of piloting or leading research programmes in the field of Pali/Sanskrit/Prakrit and a passion for developing inter-disciplinary research. Should be a Doctorate.

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
Candidates must have at least 10 years of experience and impeccable research credentials in the field of Pali/Sanskrit/Prakrit and a passion for developing inter-disciplinary research. Should be a Doctorate. Interested candidates should email a one page research proposal.

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
Candidates must have at least 2-3 years of experience and impeccable research credentials in the field of Pali/Prakrit. Should have prior experience in comparitive literature. Should be a Doctorate. Interested candidates should email a one page research proposal.

POST GRADUATE RESEARCH FELLOWS
Candidates must be a PhD or currently in the final years of a PhD programme in the area of Pali or Prakrit. Appointment allows advanced graduate students and Ph.D.'s in the early years of their scholarly careers opportunities for individual research under the guidance of a department faculty member. LIBRARIAN
Candidates must have at least 6-7 years of experience and impeccable credentials. Should have prior experience of working in libraries at research institutes or universities. Knowledge of Pali/Sanskrit Literature and Ancient Indian Culture will be an advantage. Computer Skills will be an advantage.

MIS DEVELOPER - DIGITAL LIBRARY
Candidates must have at least 3-4 years of experience and impeccable credentials. Should have prior experience of working in libraries at research institutes or universities. Knowledge of Pali/Sanskrit Literature and Ancient Indian Culture will be an advantage. Computer Skills mandatory.

CONTENT DEVELOPMENT and MAINTAINENCE
Candidates must have at least 3-4 years of experience in developing academic content and impeccable credentials. Should have prior experience of developing and maintaining academic/scholastic content. Bachelor's degree is mandatory, Master's preferred. Should have excellent written language and computer skills are mandatory. Graphic design knowledge would be an advantage. Should be able to work independently and be a self-starter.

ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
Candidates must have at least 20 years of experience in adminstration and impeccable credentials. Should have prior experience of working in academic institutions, universities or public sector. Should be capable of working closely with the Governing Council and the Director to manage day to day affairs of the Institute. Should have excellent inter-personal and communication skills.

ACCOUNTS OFFICER
Candidates must have at least 10 years of experience in the field of accountancy and auditing with impeccable credentials. Bachelor's degree is mandatory. Should have knowledge of Tally.

The above positions are contractual and candidates will be hired on a renewable (depending on satisfactory performance) annual contract, with a fixed salary based on experience, for a maximum duration of 5 years. All positions are based in Gulbarga. Reservation of posts as per the current reservation policy of the Government of Karnataka.
